Lucent Lines Series

This necklace series is related to the Elements series because of the similar use of individual forms connected by linkage to flow in a symmetrical repeated construction around the neck. These designs are more formal and refined in comparison to other series.

Lucent Lines refers to the linear holes drilled in the vertical rows in each glass element, punctuating the pure clarity of the geometric form. The pieces are individually cut, shaped, and drilled from either commercial plate, lead crystal, or colored transparent glass. Each of the glass surfaces are highly polished or acid polished to a satin finish.

14kt gold tubing and sheet pieces complete the flexible structure connecting the forms, emphasizing the geometry and mechanical aspect of the necklace design.
